Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic team dedicated to improving life for senior residents. You will evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, establish goals, and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, a full benefits package, and professional development opportunities in a not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or ability to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement Speech Pathology treatment programs after full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and functional treatment approaches.
• Personalize treatment sessions to meet individual patient needs.
• Desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
