Role Description

This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is located in Sunbury, OH. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities for clients across the lifespan. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of therapy goals in home, school, and community environments. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in team meetings, maintain accurate records, and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and dysphagia management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning.
• Strong clinical skills in managing Speech and Communication Disorders to support functional communication in daily activities.
• Experience assessing and treating Language Disorders across pediatric and adult populations.
• Competence in evaluating and treating Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and evidence-based interventions.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) in Ohio.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain it within required timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in private practice or multiple clinical settings is beneficial, along with a commitment to culturally responsive and client-centered care.
