Ampersand Therapy is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based position in Statesville, NC. You’ll provide speech and language services that directly impact student communication and learning in a K-12 setting.

We welcome experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) with strong mentorship. 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday, full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• North Carolina Education License from NCDPI (eligible once have State SLP License).
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
