Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based position in Concord, NC for the 2026-2027 year. You will deliver speech-language services in a K-12 setting, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support students across articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.

Qualifications

• Active NC licensure or eligibility with NC Board of Examiners for SLPs
• Eligibility for NC licensure through DPI

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered speech-language therapy in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Collaborate with teachers and families for carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Concord, NC . You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
• Eligibility for North Carolina licensure as a speech-language pathologist through the Department of Public Instruction
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
