Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based role in Newberry, SC. You’ll deliver SLP services in a K-12 setting, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to transfer progress to classrooms.

This position welcomes Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs, offering mentorship, W-2 employment with benefits, and flexible full- or part-time schedules for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders required.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
