Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team serving Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls and a partner community in Brandon, SD. You will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, aiming to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy services focused on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment plans and home strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and rehabilitation team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide therapy services at Dow Rummel Village and a nearby partner community in Brandon.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation supporting quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
