Job description

Come grow with us as a Speech Language Pathologist at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life‑shaping services designed to help them thrive. We focus on early intervention and integrated autism care, bringing together speech, occupational therapy, ABA, and mental health services to support the whole child and family.

How The Role Is Designed

Soar's SLP role is built for clinicians who want to keep growing in their practice while working as part of a truly interdisciplinary care team. You'll support young children during a critical stage of communication development while building your own expertise through hands‑on collaboration, continuing education, and exposure to approaches including AAC and integrated autism care. You don't need to come to Soar as an expert in every aspect of autism care — what matters is strong clinical fundamentals, curiosity, and a commitment to learning and delivering thoughtful, high‑quality care.

Compensation And Role Design
  • Base pay: $86,000.00 - $108,500.00/year per year. Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications.
  • Schedule flexibility: Full‑time clinicians can choose between 4x10 and 5x8 work schedules, based on available scheduling options.
  • Support and development: Ongoing training, continuing education, and opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians and national experts in speech therapy.
  • True interdisciplinary care: Work closely with BCBAs, OTs, psychologists, RBTs, and other clinicians through coordinated treatment planning, client overlaps, and weekly interdisciplinary care meetings.
  • Clinical growth: Build deeper expertise in areas such as AAC, early intervention, and autism care, with opportunities to grow your career as Soar expands.
  • Culture that lives out our Values: Join a team committed to high‑quality, ethical care, collaboration, continuous improvement, and creating an environment where clinicians can do their best work.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as an on‑site Speech Language Pathologist for children ages 2‑6 in a center‑based, early intervention setting.
  • Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans that help children build meaningful communication skills.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans alongside BCBAs, OTs, psychologists, and other members of the clinical team.
  • Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to create integrated plans of care.
  • Participate in co‑treatment and shared clinical problem‑solving with other disciplines when it supports the needs of the child.
  • Monitor client progress and continually adapt treatment plans and goals based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's evolving needs.
  • Help other members of the care team understand and reinforce each child's communication goals throughout their day.
  • Partner with families to develop meaningful goals, communicate progress, and provide practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
  • Bring your speech and language expertise to weekly interdisciplinary care meetings, helping the team build a coordinated approach around the whole child.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice speech‑language pathology.
  • Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, while remaining open to newer clinicians who are excited to grow their practice.
  • Prior experience with AAC is a plus, but not required — we welcome clinicians who are interested in building their skills alongside our clinical teams.
  • Ability to connect, engage, and build strong relationships with young children.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to thoughtful, individualized care.
  • Interest in collaborating across disciplines and learning from clinicians with different areas of expertise.
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • A mission‑driven approach focused on delivering high‑quality, ethical care for children and families.
What You'll Get
  • Real multidisciplinary collaboration. Work side‑by‑side with BCBAs, OTs, psychologists, RBTs, and other autism care professionals through client overlaps, coordinated treatment planning, and weekly interdisciplinary care meetings.
  • Keep growing as a clinician. Receive ongoing training, continuing education, and opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians and national experts in speech therapy.
  • Expand your clinical toolkit. Build deeper expertise in AAC, early intervention, autism care, and interdisciplinary treatment.
  • Make an impact beyond your own sessions. Partner with families and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout the child's day.
  • Flexible full‑time scheduling. Choose between 4x10 and 5x8 work schedules, based on available scheduling options.
  • Build a career, not just a caseload. Pursue opportunities for clinical growth and career advancement as Soar continues to expand.
  • Help advance autism care. Be part of an organization deeply focused on high‑quality, ethical services and improving the experience of care for children and families.
  • A culture that appreciates your work. Shout‑outs, boo yahs, and staff appreciation are part of how we recognize the impact our teams make every day.
  • Great company benefits, including:
    • Quality medical plans with a $0 deductible, plus dental and vision coverage.
    • A company 401(k) with company contribution after one year of service.
    • 11 company holidays plus 15 additional days off.
    • Short‑term disability coverage for all staff, paid by Soar.
    • Student loan reimbursement assistance.
Come grow your career as a Speech Language Pathologist at Soar Autism Center!

If you're looking for the opportunity to deepen your clinical skills, learn from other disciplines, and make a meaningful impact during some of the most important years of a child's development, we'd love to meet you.

Applications for this position will be accepted on a rolling basis.
