Flagship Therapy in Sarasota, FL seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for full-time in-house rehab, serving geriatric clients at Bay Park Post-Acute and Rehab.

The role involves evaluation, treatment, discharge summaries, collaboration with families, and adherence to CAPLICO values; new grads welcome; licensure required.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FULL TIME BAY PARK POST-ACUTE AND REHAB – SARASOTA, FL Join our team and start making a difference! Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Bay Park Post-Acute and Rehab in Sarasota, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities
