Flagship Therapy in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, in-house rehab role. The position offers stable teamwork within an Ensign-affiliate network and serves geriatric patients on recovery journeys.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating patients, delivering therapeutic interventions, documenting discharge summaries, and collaborating with families and care teams. Licensure as an SLP is required; new grads are welcome. Full benefits available.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FULL TIME – JACKSONVILLE, FL

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Jacksonville, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time Speech-Language Pathologists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
