Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve infants and toddlers in home-based Early Intervention across California. You will work with families to implement IFSP goals and coach caregivers using a parent coaching approach.

The role offers flexible scheduling, travel between sessions, and a supportive multidisciplinary team with monthly tech stipends and potential benefits for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention preferred).
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings).
• Conduct re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
