Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks Speech Language Pathologists to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers across California.

You will assess and treat communication delays, collaborate with families using the Parent Coaching Model, and support caregivers to implement strategies in natural environments.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license required.
• Pediatric Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.
