Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Therapists to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings across California. Join a multidisciplinary team with flexible schedules and the potential for virtual services.

Responsibilities include developmental assessments, IFSP-directed therapy, and family coaching using the Parent Coaching Model. Applicants should have a California SLP license and pediatric EI experience.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.
