Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. seeks Speech Therapists to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers in California. Join a team delivering therapy in the child''s natural environment with flexible schedules and locations of your choice, including home and community settings.

Competitive pay at 65–75 USD per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Services may be offered virtually as well as in person, supporting families and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license required.
• Pediatric EI experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow IFSP and collaborate with families to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to boost caregiver confidence and skills.
• Deliver services in child's natural environment—home, daycare, or community settings; virtual sessions available.

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• California Speech Language Pathology license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
