Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Therapists to work with infants and toddlers in their homes and community settings. Join a multidisciplinary team providing early intervention services across California, with options for flexible schedules and locations.

Position offers sign-on bonuses, mileage reimbursement, monthly tech stipends, and benefits for part-time employees. Experience in home-based EI is valued, along with bilingual Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention).
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills are required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community settings); virtual services available.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements
