Job summary

Cross Country Education in Puyallup, WA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students. Conduct evaluations, provide individual or small-group therapy, and help students build communication skills within the school setting.

The role requires WA licensure (DOH), ESA certification, CCC-SLP or CF status, and school-based experience. We offer a 37.5-hour week aligned to the school calendar, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
  • Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (DOH) license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying clinical fellowship status.
  • Successful completion of required background checks and applicable state/district employment requirements.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Out-of-state candidates must meet applicable reciprocity or temporary credential requirements.

About the Role

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive Pay: Earn $53.10 - $54.20 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
