Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bremerton, Washington. This full-time, school-year position serves K-12 students, providing evaluations, IEP-driven treatment, and both direct and group therapy within a collaborative team.

Eligible candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a Washington SLP license, and preferably the CCC-SLP; CFY candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates encouraged if eligible.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine students' needs and eligibility for services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and classroom strategies.
• Educate families and school staff on communication disorders and evidence-based interventions.

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.87 to $69.87. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
