Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support approximately 50 high school students near Orting, WA this fall. The contract role begins September 1st with a Monday–Friday schedule in a supportive educational setting.

You will deliver targeted speech-language interventions, conduct assessments, and help develop IEPs while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. ProCare Therapy offers healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license in Washington State.
• CCC certification required.
• Experience in a school setting, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions designed to address a range of communication and language disorders for high school students.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating closely with special education teams and classroom staff.
• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and maintain accurate student records.
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations with colleagues and families.
• Serve as a resource to staff, providing strategies to support students communication in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques to suit changing needs.
