Job summary

Mariner Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role offers a salary of $104,000 - $135,200 annually and can be full- or part-time. A sign-on bonus is available.

As an SLP you will screen and evaluate residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatment, administer and interpret tests, and support swallow techniques while maintaining patient confidentiality. California licensure is required and certification in clinical competency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
