Qualifications

• Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines.

• 1-2 years’ experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct and supervise all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation and treatment.
• Ensure care follows guidelines and state/federal requirements.
• Advocate for patients and collaborate with internal/external customers.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary care to ensure consistency.
• Participate in quality assurance and customer service activities.

• Provide, direct and supervise all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation, to assure the best outcome possible for the patient.
• Ensure patient care follows the organizations guidelines, professional standards and community needs, and is in compliance with Federal and State guidelines.
• Serve as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, to all internal and external customers.
• Ensure cross-disciplinary coordination to provide for consistent patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and customer service activities.
