Job summary

Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is seeking per diem NYS Licensed Speech Therapists to provide therapeutic services in home settings for our Early Intervention program serving all 5 NYC boroughs.

Compensation starting at $60 for 30-minute sessions. Responsibilities include 1:1 work with children with developmental delays, creating family-centered goals, and documenting progress while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who have disabilities (EI preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual skills (Yiddish and Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with developmental delays.
• Create family-centered treatment goals for carryover and progress.
• Monitor and assess intervention effectiveness with a multidisciplinary approach.
• Maintain documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
• Educate families about the therapeutic process.

• Creating family centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximum progress.
• Monitoring & assessing intervention effectiveness utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
• Educating families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.
