Job summary

Little Scholars Services is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric team in Mission Viejo, CA. Help children find their voice through tailored therapy in home or clinic settings, collaborating with families and educators to maximize progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school, clinic, or therapy settings.
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess children's speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's needs.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a pediatric setting (in home or in clinic).
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools.
• Provide parent and caregiver training and education on communication strategies.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

CCC-SLP (ASHA) preferred

Experience with pediatric populations

Knowledge of AAC
