Job summary

Little Scholars Services in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team and help children find their voice.

You will assess speech, language, and swallowing needs, create individualized treatment plans, and work with families, teachers, and clinicians in home or clinic settings to support child communication goals. This role offers a collaborative, child-centered environment focused on growth and meaningful progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school, clinic, or therapy settings.
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, child-centered approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess children’s speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs).
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in pediatric settings (home or clinic).
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor, document, and report on patient progress; adjust plans accordingly.
• Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized tools.
• Provide parent training and education on communication strategies.
