Job summary

Little Scholars Services is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (CF Welcome to Apply) to support children in Mission Viejo, CA. You will provide pediatric speech-language therapy in home or clinic settings and collaborate with families and educators to boost communication outcomes.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and preferably CCC-SLP; experience with pediatrics and AAC knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a school, clinic, or therapy setting
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess children's speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop, Review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's needs
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a pediatric setting (in home or in clinic)
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools
• Provide parent and caregiver training and education on communication strategies
