Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based clinical techniques, and to educate patients and families on personalized treatment plans.

You will document clinical progress and uphold quality improvement standards. You will facilitate seamless discharge from speech therapy services, coordinate community support, and ensure licensure and ASHA credentialing requirements are met within the

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: BLS Provider within 30 days; ASHA SLP credential required; provisional license accepted until issued; license must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job experience.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
