Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct SLP services to patients in accordance with clinical standards and with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning and care coordination across care communities.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active state license as an SLP.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Valid state license as Speech-Language Pathologist required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver SLP services in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
  • Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment
  • Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
  • Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
  • Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license
