Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver SLP services across partner facilities in the United States. You will develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with facility teams to ensure high-quality care in line with state and federal regulations.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current state license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Speech-language Pathology.
• Valid Speech-language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech-Language Pathology services to patients in accordance with clinical standards and Reliant Rehabilitation’s guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing therapy services.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality patient care and documentation.
• Stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and continuing education requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
