Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver SLP services to patients across care communities, upholding our standards and ensuring high-quality care. You’ll work with a dedicated clinical team, provide patient screening, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage discharge planning and case coordination.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients following the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
• Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive‑linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive‑linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech‑language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
