Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Speech Language Pathologist to support Baltimore County Public Schools via a virtual platform. The role emphasizes collaboration with students, families, teachers, and special education staff to achieve communication goals in a fully online setting.

Candidates must hold an active Maryland SLP license, have a master's degree in SLP, and be comfortable with IEPs and virtual therapy. Maryland fingerprinting onboarding is required, with East Coast preference.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility to practice in Maryland.
• Previous school-based experience.
• Experience with IEPs.
• Ability to travel to Maryland for fingerprinting and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Conducting virtual speech and language therapy sessions for K-12 students.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations regarding speech and language goals.
• Completing required documentation, progress reports, and compliance-related records.

Job description

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates located on the East Coast. Maryland licensure required.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 33.75 hours a week

Interview Process: One virtual interview

Duration: School-year contract with annual return opportunities through 2031

Compensation: $50-$62/hr (depending on experience)

Must Haves

• Active Maryland Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Maryland
• Previous school-based experience
• Experience with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Ability to travel to Maryland for fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
• Comfortable providing services in a fully virtual environment

Pluses

• Teletherapy or virtual therapy experience
• Experience managing larger student caseloads
• Experience working with students receiving special education services
• Multi-district or diverse school setting experience
• Familiarity with AAC devices and assistive communication technologies

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

This fully remote Speech Language Pathologist will support students within Baltimore County Public Schools by providing speech and language services through a virtual platform. The SLP will work closely with students, parents, teachers, special education staff, and support personnel to help students achieve their communication goals and remain successful in the classroom setting.
