Job summary

Talin Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients in their home settings across NoVA. You will work with families and educators, ensuring evidence-based treatment plans personalized to each patient’s needs.

Qualifications include a Master’s in SLP, active state licensure, and pediatric or school-based experience; ASHA certification is preferred.

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • 1+ year experience in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Active state SLP license required.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.

Experience

  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to speech and language development.

Speech Pathologist Qualifications / Skills:
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans
  • Familiarity with a variety of speech and cognitive disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to comply with all regulatory standards
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Masters degree in speech language pathology or related field
  • >1 year speech language pathology experience
  • Active state SLP license
  • ASHA certification preferred
  • CPR certification
