Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, assess, develop and implement tailored speech-language treatment plans for patients.
  • Identify challenges and adjust speech therapy treatments as needed.
  • Monitor and document patient performance, progress and responses to therapy.
  • Celebrate patient achievements throughout the course of treatment.

Your Role as a Speech Pathologist

Qualifications

  • Current licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations.
  • Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by relevant field experience.
