Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a fulltime role at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You bring a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, CCC/CFY status if possible, and current CPR/BLS; two years of rehab hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or CFY status preferred.
• Two years' experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and related disorders.
• Collaborates with the care team to integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

• Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current State Speech Language Pathology License.
• Current CPR

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current and valdi state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification from an approved required.
