Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Casper, Wyoming.

This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and related disorders in an inpatient/outpatient rehab setting. The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology, a current state license, and preferably ASHA CCC or CFY status, with 2 years of rehab hospital experience and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current and valdi state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification from an approved required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

What you bring:

• A passion for patient care, a team player, motivating and collaborating therapist to assist patients to reach the best outcome.
• Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current State Speech Language Pathology License.
• Current CPR

Required Skills:
