Job summary

New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver speech, language, and cognitive rehabilitation to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other conditions.

Requirements include a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably CCC from ASHA or CFY; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC from ASHA or CFY status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and related disorders; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team.

• Graduate Degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current State Speech Language Pathology License.
• Current CPR

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current and valdi state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification from an approved required.
