Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence‑based therapeutic techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals, and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach.
  • The ability to individualize treatment sessions.
  • Desirable Monday‑Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
