Job summary

Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time role offers dayshift hours, an 8-hour shift with some weekend coverage, and benefits. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Speech Therapy, state licensure, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's in Speech Therapy
• Licensed by the state in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current BLS for healthcare providers' certification upon hire and maintain current certification

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializes in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. SLPs work with individuals of all ages to improve communication skills and enhance quality of life by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) work closely with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and family members about communication strategies to improve the patient's speech in their daily life.
