Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech and language therapy in K-12 settings in LaPorte, IN. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes. IN license required; clinical fellows welcome.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered.
  • Criminal and DCS background checks.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

Pay Range:

$46-$54/hour

Job Description:
For the 26/27 SY | $46-$54/hour | Full-Time | LaPorte, IN | School-Based | SLP and Indiana License Required
About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Criminal and DCS background checks
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in speech therapy ( clinical fellows welcome )
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
