Job summary

IEP Therapy, a member of thePoint Quest Group, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for K-12 school settings in Elwood, IN. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct services to improve students’ communication and support IEP goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families, supervision of SLPAs where applicable, and ongoing professional development. CFs encouraged to apply; full benefits provided.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Indiana SLP License and IN DOE Educators’ License.
  • Clearances: DOJ/FBI Livescan background check. Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

About the Role

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You’ll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. Speech Language Pathologist Physical Demands
  • Environment : Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
  • Activity : Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Sensory : Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
