Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Joliet is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to children from birth to age 18. You will play a crucial role in helping build communication skills through creative and engaging plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will need a Master’s degree and pass the Praxis Exam, and will thrive in a supportive, fun culture that includes numerous perks such as a 401(k) with company match and a substantial annual bonus

Qualifications

• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.
• Feeding Therapy experience preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non‑verbally communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
• Feeding Therapy experience preferred
