Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy in Geneva, IL seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children build communication skills through fun, collaborative therapy. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in SLP from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• SLP licensure or licensure eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, birth to 18 years.
• Set client-specific communication goals using verbal and non-verbal strategies.
• Support families to foster treatment behaviors at home and in daily life.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non‑verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
