Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children build communication skills in a fun, collaborative setting. You’ll work with birth to 18-year-olds and have opportunities to grow in areas like feeding therapy and AAC evaluations, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll prepare and implement treatment plans, support families, and contribute to a mentorship–driven culture with structured training and celebrations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• SLP licensure or license‑eligible status in Illinois.
• Practicum experience in a pediatric outpatient or school‑based setting, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision and support of a seasoned Speech Therapist.
• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client‑specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
