Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to serve infants and toddlers from birth to three years, delivering services in home and community settings.

You will work within an EI framework, following IFSPs and coaching families to support developmental goals, with flexible scheduling and locations of your choice. Join a multidisciplinary team offering therapy across occupational, physical, and speech modalities, and participate in a supportive environment that values

Formación

• California Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work within a family-centered coaching model.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to reach developmental goals.
• Build caregivers’ confidence and skills to generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment: home, daycare, and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports bi-annual.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Conocimientos

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• California Speech Language Pathology license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
