Job summary

The Springs of Park Avenue – Hot Springs, AR is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehab team. You will evaluate residents, provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing, and educate families on communication strategies.

In this flexible, as-needed role, you’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate documentation, and support residents in regaining vital communication skills and independence in daily life at our

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas SLP license and CCC-SLP required.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities for residents and families.
• Passion for improving quality of life in older adults.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.

The Springs of Park Avenue is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our experienced rehab team. In this flexible, as-needed role, you’ll help residents improve their speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities—restoring vital skills that support independence and dignity.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic, resident-focused care
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and care updates
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques

What You Bring:

• Active Arkansas SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
• Passion for working with older adults and improving quality of life
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
