Job summary

The Springs of Park Avenue in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an experienced rehab team. You will help residents improve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities, supporting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and educating families. Licensure in Arkansas and CCC-SLP are required. The role offers a flexible PRN schedule in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.

In this flexible, as‑needed role, you’ll help residents improve their speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities—restoring vital skills that support independence and dignity.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic, resident‑focused care
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and care updates
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques

What You Bring:

• Active Arkansas SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
• Passion for working with older adults and improving quality of life
