Job summary

Austill's is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based services in Chester, PA for the full 26-27 school year, Monday through Friday. This position focuses on autistic support classrooms, providing direct therapy and collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff.

You will evaluate and treat students across preschool to grade 12, participate in IEP meetings, and utilize a comprehensive clinical support network including a Peer Mentor Program and Clinical Fieldwork

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Speech and Language Pathology Program
• CCC's
• Educational or Instructional Certificate
• Current PA state license
• Experience in school setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
• Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation
• Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies
• Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended
• Case Management may be required
• AAC consultation may be required
• Some travel may be required throughout the school day
