Job summary

Austill's is seeking a speech-language pathologist to support students in a school-based setting. The position begins part-time (2-3 days/week) with potential for growth, and includes strong clinical support from Educational Therapy Managers and a Peer Mentor Program.

We emphasize work-life balance, ongoing professional development, and access to resources to assist with assessments and documentation. Travel may be required, with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Speech and Language Pathology Program.
  • CCC's credential required.
  • Educational or Instructional Certificate required.
  • Preferred candidates have experience working with children in the school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12.
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Case Management may be required.
  • AAC consultation may be required.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day.

Timeframe:26-27 school year

Snapshot: We are seeking a speech-language pathologist to work with preschool students. This caseload will begin part-time (2-3 days/week). There is the potential for growth if desired.
