Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 setting in Gaffney, SC. The role offers up to $58/hour and flexible full-time or part-time options, with W-2 employment and benefits.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, provide therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families, with mentorship for CFs during the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• SC SLP license or ability to obtain.
• SC Education Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Gaffney, SC. You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.
