Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based position in Columbia, SC. You’ll provide speech-language services that directly impact communication and learning for K-12 students in a collaborative school setting.

This role welcomes both experienced and new SLPs. Full-time or part-time options are available for the 2026-2027 school year, with W-2 employment, liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement, plus mileage support between sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders required.
• SC State SLP licensure or ability to obtain licensure required.
• CFs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
