Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Forest City, NC. You’ll provide speech and language services to K-12 students, conduct assessments, and develop IEP goals with strong mentorship for Clinical Fellows.

This position offers competitive pay up to $55/hour, W-2 employment with benefits, licensure and CEU reimbursements, mileage between sites, and a supportive team focused on mentorship, equity, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Communicatio​n Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensed or eligible for NC licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CFs (Clinical Fellows) encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.
