Los Arcos Del Norte Care Center in El Paso, TX is a post-acute care facility offering long-term and geriatric services. We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for our in-house rehab program to join our team and help clients on their path to recovery.

Responsibilities include screening/evaluation, delivering rehab interventions, and generating discharge summaries. Licensure and CCC credentials are required to practice with us.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.

• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Los Arcos Del Norte Care Center in El Paso, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) required
