Los Arcos Del Norte Care Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings and evaluations, develop care plans, and deliver skilled interventions for geriatric patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional growth within Ensign Services' CAPLICO values. This position offers a collaborative in-house team and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Los Arcos del Norte Care Center inEl Paso, TX. We offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
